Have to be careful not to go off into a mad rant here.....but! Ohhhh, that woman makes my blood boil!Angry

I am normally quite a charitable person, but this has all gone out of the window where this creature is concerned. I know alot of my friends have MIL's that don't know when to back off and give them space, but I really seem to have drawn the short straw when it comes to problematic MILs.

I recently decided to create some distance between us, and I mean considerable distance, after finding my personal/private life invaded- yet again, nasty comments made about me- yet again and my boyfriend being told how to live his life-yet again! I actually wrote to her and told her how I felt about her behaviour ( which felt wonderful!LOL ) and also of her husband who just nods his head at everything she says as he has zero personality and no trace of a back bone, but made sure I was honest and truthful. They say the truth can hurt! Whether or not it did enough to make her think things through, I have no idea!??

I am now planning on having a baby with her youngest and blatantly favourite son and obviously know that she will have some involvement, but want her to understand that she can't just wade into our lives and try and take over again. I am sure she will try her best to get her foot through the door.

The upside is, she lives abroad!Clap

But.....is looking to return to England!Cry

Any tips for how to keep my cool but get the message across!??? She has a thick skin and is just plain intrusive by nature, I see blood, hair and skin flying!

Thanks!
